The expert, who joined the show in season eight, has been candid about her journey, citing health concerns ahead of pregnancy as her main motivation.
Born on 25 March 1974, Rampolla celebrated her 50th birthday in 2024. She holds a master's degree in marriage and family therapy and has over 20 years of experience in sexology. The Argentinian-born star has appeared on programmes like Dr Phil, hosted her own radio show, and authored five bestselling books.
Rampolla was previously married to businessman John Hernandez from 2007 to 2011. The couple divorced reportedly because she wished to start a family in Argentina, while he wanted to return to Puerto Rico. The sexologist has said her own relationship history helps her relate to clients on the show.
