Madonna launched her 15th studio album, Confessions II, with a star-studded party at Magazine London on Thursday night, July 2. The event, dubbed Club Confessions: London, served as the official album release party and listening event ahead of the album's release on July 3.
Throwback Performance and New Music Preview
The evening featured an exclusive preview of the track Danceteria from the new album. Additionally, Madonna performed Physical Attraction for the first time publicly since its original release on her self-titled debut album in 1983.
In a standout moment, producer Price spun snippets of Vogue, prompting Madonna to bust out the song's iconic dance moves, much to the delight of the crowd.
Notable Guests and DJ Sets
The party included DJ sets from Price, Honey Dijon, Jodie Harsh, and Horse Meat Disco. Madonna joined Price behind the decks, belting out tracks and mingling with attendees. Her daughter, Lourdes Leon, also known as Lola Leon, was spotted joining in the fun in the DJ booth.
Among the celebrity guests were Daisy Edgar-Jones, Maxim Magnus, Ashley Roberts, Harriet Scott, Jessica Gunning, Jaime Winstone, Luke Day, Jessie Ware, Daniel Lismore, Antonio Pignone, Harry Lambert, Cobbie Yates, Joseph Hyland, and Kieron Moore. Many dressed to impress, while others opted for more casual attire, reflecting the anything-goes spirit of Madonna.
Album Details and Background
Confessions II is the sequel to Madonna's 2005 hit Confessions on a Dance Floor. The album was produced by Price, who co-wrote and produced the original album. It marks her first studio album since 2019's Madame X.
