Made in Chelsea stars Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor have reportedly filed for divorce after seven years of marriage. The couple's shock split was first revealed last month, with plans to amicably co-parent their two daughters, Sienna, five, and Aurelia, four.
According to The Daily Mail, the pair have kept communications positive and have both appointed legal teams. A source told the newspaper: 'Fans will be sad to hear that their relationship is really over, but the pair just want a clean break.' The insider added that Millie and Hugo are committed to co-parenting and remain amicable with much respect for one another.
The couple are said to have quietly separated after a year of difficulties in their marriage, which sources claim was amplified by comments Millie made about her sexuality. An insider told The Sun: 'They want the divorce to go through as painlessly as possible and are focusing on work in the meantime.'
Millie and Hugo met as youths and appeared together on E4's Made in Chelsea before marrying in June 2018. At the time of their parting, a source said: 'They have known each other for many years, and in recent weeks, have had serious conversations about their future, ultimately deciding it's better for them both to part ways.'
Both have recently enjoyed separate holidays: Millie attended a wellness retreat in India designed to 'heal' the nervous system, while Hugo went on a ski trip. Millie has also made cryptic social media posts, including one that read: 'You don't always have to know what comes next in your journey. Sometimes you just need to be where you are and know that it's okay to be there.'
