Amandaland's Lucy Punch is Burberry's newest campaign star, but she has admitted feeling 'like a fish out of water' while shooting the advertisement alongside a series of A-listers. The actress, 48, looked stylish in an image from the brand's autumn 2026 campaign, wearing their classic check pattern.
She joins model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Romeo Beckham, actor Stephen Graham, and England stars Eberechi Eze, Declan Rice, and Leah Williamson for the campaign. Lucy told Vogue about the shoot: 'I have never done anything so intensely fashion-y and fabulous as this before. I was very much a fish out of water. I don't know anything much about that world, so it was amazing to plop into it for a moment or two.'
Lucy added of the shoot day: 'I was so glad I was wearing these rather baggy tweed trousers, because my knees were shaking!'
Lucy Punch's Private Life
While viewers may be familiar with the chaotic life of her character Amanda Hughes in London, little is known about Lucy's life behind the scenes. The British star fiercely guards her privacy and avoids social media.
Away from the spotlight, Lucy enjoys relaxing in her £2 million country farmhouse in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, with her family. She shares two young sons, aged ten and six, with her long-time partner, artist Dinos Chapman, 64. Although her home is modest by Hollywood standards, she lives next to celebrities like Jack Nicholson and Kim Kardashian in the West Hollywood hills.
Lucy moved to LA almost 20 years ago and met Dinos in 2014 after his split from ex-wife Tiphaine de Lussy, with whom he has two daughters. 'We're both quite reserved,' she told You Magazine this year, adding that Dinos is 'supportive and proud' of her work.
She is particularly protective of her sons' privacy, keeping their names out of the spotlight. 'It's privacy, isn't it? They don't have a choice. It's different when they're older but for now, it's not my place to make that decision for them. It's my place to protect them,' she said.
Balancing Work and Family
When not travelling for work, Lucy switches to mum mode, juggling school runs and summer activities. 'We don't have normal jobs so we can, in a very mismanaged, chaotic way, divide up childcare,' she told The Times. She added: 'I've always got one foot out the door, wherever I am. I never got round to getting a green card. I'm on these rolling visas, which is ridiculous. I have a home there and I have two American children. But I can't commit to anywhere. I get itchy feet. I like being a little bit here and a little bit there.'
She loves the natural surroundings of her home: 'We're down a wonky country road and it's all ramshackle and surrounded by trees.'
Dinos was part of the renowned British visual art duo The Chapman Brothers with his brother Jake. The duo split in 2022, and Dinos now works independently.
