Love Island star Trey Norman was spotted at Leeds Bradford Airport with a bloodied and bruised eye, just hours after a brutal boxing match. The 24-year-old from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, fought Stu Wilson in a light heavyweight bout in Stoke-on-Trent over the weekend, sustaining the injury in the second round.
Dressed in a white T-shirt and black jogging bottoms, Trey appeared downcast as he wheeled his suitcase to departures, heading to Ibiza for a holiday. His swollen right eye, filled with blood, was visibly struggling to remain open.
The reality star, who works as an insurance broker at McCarron Coates, recently spoke about returning to his insurance career. He told Insurance Times: 'It's great to share my story as a young person and why I enjoy [working in insurance] so much. It's not been done by someone who's been on TV and come back to [the industry].'
Trey appeared on series 11 of ITV's Love Island, hosted by Maya Jama. After being voted out with Ellie following Movie Night, he faced accusations of being 'fame hungry', which he strongly denied. He explained to Heat magazine that distance ended their potential relationship, but they remain friends.
Since leaving the villa, Trey has kept a low profile but has pursued boxing, previously fighting Nathan Pearce and Kieran Elliot. Before entering the villa, he described himself as 'a bit of a geek and academic', holding a First Class Economics Degree and a master's, and having played chess at university.
