Love Island's Sean and Lola's Secret Code 'Elephant Juice' Revealed
Love Island's Sean and Lola's Secret Code Exposed

Dumped Love Island star Tommy Murphy has revealed the secret code used by Sean Fitzgerald and Lola Deal to communicate their feelings in the villa. Speaking on Aftersun with Maya Jama, Tommy disclosed that the couple uses the phrase 'elephant juice' as a covert way to say 'I love you'.

How the Code Works

Tommy explained: 'They spend every moment of the day together that they can. They've got a little code where they say 'elephant juice' and apparently that's like saying 'I love you' without saying 'I love you'. So honestly, they are like [the real deal].'

The phrase 'elephant juice' is a well-known lip-reading trick: the mouth movements for both phrases are nearly identical, allowing the couple to express their love without others noticing.

Sean and Lola's Journey

Detective Lola and primary school teacher Sean have been coupled up since day one of Series 13. They weathered the Casa Amor loyalty challenge, where Sean remained faithful despite the arrival of bombshell Charleen Murphy, a Gaelic footballer he knew from outside the villa.

Sean decided to stay with Lola during the recoupling, solidifying their bond. Tommy noted that the pair are practically inseparable, spending every possible moment together.

What Lola Wanted in a Partner

Before entering the villa, Lola described her ideal partner as 'someone who is quite big as in a good cuddler, good muscles kind of way.' She added: 'In a personality, I like someone funny... I like someone who is smart who can teach me things... Someone who does everything for me but I can't take the p***.'

Sean, meanwhile, simply described his type on paper as 'female!'.

Series 13 Dumpings

The current series has seen several savage dumpings, with bombshells Tina Rad and Tommy Murphy recently voted out by fellow Islanders after a public vote placed them among the least popular contestants. Since their exit, both have shared insider secrets about villa life.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, with Love Island: Aftersun airing on Sundays at 10pm.
