Love Island Star Sam Taylor's Girlfriend Rushed to Hospital After Cardiac Arrest

Sam Taylor, who appeared on Love Island last year, has been supporting his girlfriend Em Leah after she suffered a cardiac arrest. The 22-year-old social media influencer was rushed to hospital after her heart stopped.

Em Leah, who has 155,000 followers on Instagram, shared a video of herself in hospital with Sam pushing her down the corridors. She wrote: 'Not sure I could've done it without you.' In another post, she said: 'Cardiac arrest and heart stopping on me... Was not on todays to do list. I'm okay and in the best place, thank you for all the messages.'

The couple went public with their romance just days before the health scare. They shared photos of themselves in matching black outfits, with the caption: 'Newest addition.' Friends and followers, including Love Island's Lionel Awudu, sent messages of support.

Em later reflected on her experience, writing: 'Just waking up everyday, breathing, feeling my heart beat - those are the miracles. My body, even after everything, brought me back. And for that, I am in awe of it.' She added that the incident reminded her of the fragility of life.

Sam, a hairdresser from Chesterfield, had previously teased the relationship by sharing a selfie at the gym. A source told The Sun: 'Sam is in the early stages of a new relationship and things are going really well.' Em has previously dated another Love Island star, Kodie Murphy, who appeared on series ten.
