Love Island viewers were left furious on Monday night after the episode ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, with Zara poised to confront Olivia over Tom's secret kiss with Ellie.
The drama began after Tom and Zara called time on their romance, and bombshell Ellie shared a kiss with Tom on the terrace, which was kept hidden until Monday's show. Ellie confided in Will, who then told Tanya, who in turn revealed the secret to Zara.
An enraged Zara immediately went to confront Olivia, who had been uncertain about Tom after his brief fling with Zara. However, just as Zara was about to speak, the episode cut to black, leaving viewers on edge.
Social media erupted with complaints, with many criticising ITV for the cliffhanger and the lack of a preview for the next episode. One tweeted: "The whole of UK’s reaction to them leaving us on a cliffhanger AGAIN #loveisland", while another wrote: "That cliffhanger took literal YEARS off my life."
Fans will have to wait until Tuesday to see how Zara's revelation unfolds and whether the secret kiss will cause more chaos in the villa.
