Love Island's Mitchel Taylor has called off his budding romance with Molly Marsh, after she expressed interest in getting to know other contestants. The couple, initially tipped as early favourites, shared the first kiss in bed but now face a split.
In tonight's dramatic episode, a heartbroken Mitchel tells Molly to explore her options with rival boys. Molly wastes no time and flirts with new islander Sammy, who later confesses to Mitchel that Molly was his favourite.
Sammy says, “I can’t lie, Molly was my favourite. I want to get to know her.” Mitchel responds, “Do your thing, get to know the girls. Let the best man win.”
Mitchel later explains to Molly, “I don’t want to give you the energy I think you deserve, when you’re not going to give me any reciprocation back. I’d rather let you do your thing.”
Molly then tells Sammy he reminds her of someone, hinting at a connection. Meanwhile, the show has seen its first dumping, with a contestant leaving after just four days.
