Love Island's Lola Deal: Kent detective faces dumping after public vote

Lola Deal, a 28-year-old detective from Kent, is at risk of being dumped from the Love Island villa after the latest public vote. Despite being in one of the strongest couples, she received the fewest votes alongside three other girls and three boys, with the final decision resting in the hands of favourites Ellie and Lorenzo.

Before entering the villa, Lola worked as a detective but stepped back due to struggles with work-life balance. 'I was really struggling with the work-life balance of it all,' she said. 'I had the best time, I had the best team. But I think just for me and myself, I was struggling.'

Now looking for love, Lola is keen to find a boyfriend who is 'obsessed' with her. 'I want to find someone who is actually the love of my life, like obsessed with me kind of thing,' she explained. Her ideal type is tall, dark and handsome, though she has previously dated blondes. She values humour, intelligence and a strong physique in a partner.

Lola is active on Instagram under the handle @loladealx, where she has amassed over 26,000 followers. Despite the competition in the villa, she says she is willing to back off if two islanders are already together, but otherwise considers it 'everyone's game'.

With the next episode set to air tonight, viewers will discover whether Lola survives the public vote or becomes the latest islander to leave the show.
