Love Island contestant Conor Phillips has stirred controversy after reposting a TikTok video that criticises fellow islander Megan Moore. The Irish rugby player, who finished fifth on the summer series with Megan Forte-Clarke, later claimed the reshare was an accidental mistake.
The video, which Conor initially shared on his own TikTok, labelled Megan Moore as 'fake' and accused her of engaging in damage control since leaving the villa. It highlighted her recent collaborations with other islanders she had previously clashed with, including Andrada and Emma.
Conor, who was close to runner-up Shakira Khan during the show, appeared to endorse the critical post before removing it. He then commented: 'I reposted by accident. Meg is my big sis.' However, fans were sceptical, with one noting the repost button is 'too far for it to be an accident.'
Megan Moore was portrayed as the villa's 'mean girl' during the series, with several unshown derogatory comments about Shakira coming to light after the show. Conor's repost seemed to side with Shakira amid a reported cast divide.
Despite the drama, Conor has gained significant popularity since the show, amassing over 200,000 Instagram followers. His relationship with Megan Forte-Clarke, who made a surprise return to the villa, continues to flourish in Dublin.
