Love Island's Chidi Drops Mica Bombshell with Savage Swipe

Chidi Speaks Out After Being Dumped from Love Island Villa

Love Island's Chidi has spoken out after being dumped from the villa, taking a savage swipe at Mica Harris. The bombshell was eliminated alongside Halle in a heated vote among the Islanders on Tuesday, June 23, following the return of the Heart Rate challenge. The pair have now condemned the decision as 'friend Island' in an interview on Love Island The Debrief with presenters Yas, Toni and Shakira.

Chidi, who had been coupled up with Mica after the Sleepover Villa, wasted no time in launching an attack on the contestant, who has faced criticism from viewers over her recent conduct. Prior to her elimination, Chidi brought Mica to the sleepover villa, where she chose to get acquainted with Simba, much to the surprise of other Islanders. Now, Chidi has voiced her desire to rekindle her romance with Samraj.

Chidi Claims Mica Doesn't Genuinely Like Samraj

Taking aim at Mica on The Debrief, Chidi suggested matters between them were more strained than they seemed. 'Even touching on that whole Mica situation I just don't feel like she even genuinely likes Samraj, she just likes the fact she can't have him,' he said. 'No offence at her age, if I came into the Island if I wasn't so "I rate you, I want to talk to you", if I was a bit standoffish, wasn't too interested, I feel like she'd like me a bit better. I feel like certain girls respond better to like avoidantness... The only reason she liked Simba is because he didn't take her too seriously but he's back with Angie now.'

Halle also chimed in on her chats with former bombshell George, calling it 'a little bit snakey because Robyn really liked George... then again it is like game for game in there isn't it.'

Chidi Reveals Details About Sleepover Villa and Hidden Connections

Speaking about their departure and how Mica and Tommy should have been the ones to go, Chidi raged: 'All the girls were like, "no Mica back your case, back your case", I was like "oh God just let her go".' He then revealed details about the Sleepover Villa, claiming he and Halle had it the 'hardest'. 'I said to Simba, if this was the outside world I would've just cut Mica off,' he stated.

When pressed on why he decided to stick with Mica, Chidi explained: 'Basically what happened was that night when I came back from the sleepover, I spoke to Mica and asked "where's your head at? What's your situation with Simba?" She was like, "obviously I'm a bit anxious at the moment because he's about to tell Angie the whole situation, I don't know how that's going to play out but I feel like I'm very much out of it." So she was insinuating the whole situation was kind of deaded. She's like, "oh I'm very much interested in speaking to you."'

The bombshell also disclosed a connection that wasn't captured on camera between him and Namibia, stating: 'Me and her got on like a house on fire', as well as his numerous chats with Angelista.

Love Island airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
