Former Love Island contestant Ched Uzor has announced his engagement, sending fans into a frenzy with a romantic social media post showing off his partner's impressive new ring.

The 29-year-old fitness coach took to his Instagram page on Thursday to share the happy news. In the snap, Ched is pictured from behind on a beach, locked in an embrace with his fiancée, whose face is not shown. He captioned the moment simply: 'Forever, my lover,' and tagged the location as Costa Mujeres, on the northside of Cancun, Mexico. The post also revealed his fiancée's Instagram handle as @vbsxx, though he has consistently kept her name private from the public.

He coupled up with Jess Gale, then 24, and the pair's connection was instant, described as 'getting on like a house on fire'. They successfully navigated their way to the final, ultimately finishing in fourth place, losing out to winners Paige Turley and Finn Tapp.
