Former Love Island contestants Will Young and Jessie Wynter have announced their engagement, three years after meeting on the reality show. The couple became engaged on 9 December 2025 while holidaying in Tasmania, Australia.
Will, 26, known as 'Farmer Will', proposed to Jessie, 29, on the east coast of Tasmania. In an Instagram post, he revealed he had been planning the proposal for over a year and kept it a secret from Jessie. He described the moment as a dream come true, saying, 'My heart has never felt so full of love.'
The pair first met during the winter series of Love Island in 2023, where they finished in fifth place. Since then, they have been together, with Will stating he knew from the beginning that he wanted Jessie to be his fiancée.
Jessie responded to the news on social media, calling it 'the most perfect day'. Fellow Love Island stars, including Chloe Burrows and Lucie Rose Donlan, offered their congratulations, with host Maya Jama commenting that she always knew they were a 'perfect match'.
