Love Island Stars Mica and Samraj Dumped Before Final

The penultimate episode of Love Island series 13, broadcast on Sunday, July 26, saw one couple forced to leave the villa with immediate effect, hours before Monday's final.

After Aidan and Priya's exit, the remaining couples were Yasmin and Tommy, Jasmine and Kavan, Samraj and Mica, Angelista and Simba, and Julia and Lorenzo. However, following reunions with ex-Islanders and their opinions, Mica and Samraj received eight votes to leave, narrowly missing the final.

Emotional Exit

Addressing her departure, Mica said: "It's been such a crazy journey. I would have never thought I would have had that experience in the Villa. It has surpassed all my expectations. I've met such incredible people that I will love and cherish forever."

She added: "And I've also met Samraj, and the fact that this is the first time for both of us to be in love feels so special and so amazing. It's beyond my dreams and I'm just so, so grateful for my time."

Reflecting on her experience, Mica continued: "I made mistakes, but at the same time I learned so many lessons and I feel like I've really grown as a person. I'm really proud of myself. I'm really proud of everyone else as well and I've seen so many other Islanders grow."

She said: "I don't know what I was expecting when I came into the Villa, but Lord! I knew there would be a lot of highs and a lot of lows. But even the lows, I can really appreciate them as well."

Samraj's Reaction

Samraj said: "I had the best experience of my life. I wouldn't change anything. I wouldn't even change the mistakes. I've learned a lot, I've grown as a person, and I feel very grateful to everyone involved who allowed me to be part of this process because I managed to receive the best prize in life, and that's falling in love."

He added: "I fell in love with the most amazing person. I made friends for life. I learned a lot about myself. It's a unique experience and I loved every minute."

Describing the journey as a roller coaster, Samraj said: "You get on, but you never know when you're getting off. It made me realise who I am as a person as well. It made me realise what I think is important in life and what isn't."

He concluded: "When I look back, this will be a very, very key, if not the most memorable, moment in my life as a whole. I'm so thankful for everything that I experienced because, at the end of the day, I'm leaving with the woman that I love. I can't ask for much more than that."

Love Island is available to watch on ITVX.
