Love Island finalist Shakira has slammed fellow contestant Mica's actions as 'out of order' after Yasmin was seen in tears during a heated villa confrontation. The incident, which unfolded during a game of Tea, Receipts and Truth, has sparked widespread outrage among fans.
Yasmin breaks down after emotional game
Following the brutal departure of Tommy and Tina, emotions ran high in the villa. Yasmin was visibly upset as she confided in Mica, admitting she was 'thinking about everything' and felt unable to seek comfort from Lorenzo. However, Mica's subsequent actions left viewers fuming. She was seen informing Jasmine about Yasmin's private comments, and the two proceeded to speculate whether Lorenzo had feelings for Yasmin.
One viewer posted on X: 'Nah what is mica and jasmines problem???? Why are they gossiping about a girl who's clearly crying? So rude.' Another commented: 'Mica shouldn't have repeated what Yasmine said in confidence to her about her sadness about Lorenzo when she was upset. That was not girls girls behaviour and it's not the first time.'
Shakira and Toni react on The Debrief
Discussing the incident on Love Island's The Debrief, Shakira vented: 'No I thought that was horrible, like sorry, Mica get out of Jasmine's bum-hole. It is ridiculous when a girl is sat there crying to you and she's just confided in you and then Jasmine walks in. Yasmin didn't feel like telling Jasmine anything, if she wanted to she would've said it to her then. So then Mica goes outside with Jasmine and tells her everything that's been said. That's so out of order, the girl's crying, she's upset and your first instinct is to have a gossip about it.'
Toni added: 'Because then Mica and Jas came to their senses and said "well I just think Lorenzo is done with her, he's gotten to a point", and now Yas, she even said it at the fire pit yesterday, Yas says "you just don't like me", like it's sad.'
Yasmin continued: 'I think it's obvious and they've all kind of agreed that the only thing standing in the way of the two of them is Kav', as Shakira concurred: 'Yeah it's not even Yas.'
Fan divide over Mica's actions
Despite facing criticism, some fans have expressed support for Mica. One person posted on X: 'Judge her hate her all you want guys I'm gonna shower my love for mica as she's isn't doing something that others aren't but somehow they are getting the pass and for her it keep on adding Be 21 girl do mistakes learn from them.'
