Love Island fans have called for one contestant to leave the villa after a dramatic episode that left a female islander in tears. The latest installment of the reality show saw tensions rise during a risky challenge that exposed secrets and sparked bitter arguments.
Challenge Sparks Chaos
During the episode on June 11, the islanders participated in a game involving a slippery mini-slide. Each contestant had to slide down, grab a drink, and reveal a scandalous secret about a fellow islander of the opposite sex. The girls went first, throwing the drink into the face of the boy they believed the secret was about.
Secrets included: 'This boy's nightmare partner is someone who loves attention' (Kavan), 'This boy has slept with 11 girls but can only recall 3 of their names' (Lorenzo), and 'This boy's friends would describe him as having a wandering eye' (Simba).
When the boys had their turn, they revealed secrets such as: 'This girl once said I love you followed by her ex's name to her boyfriend at the time' (Yasmin), 'This girl thinks it's fine to hide how many people she's slept with from her partner' (Jasmine), and 'This girl has been told that her red flag is leading guys on' (Mica).
Heated Arguments Erupt
The game was far from lighthearted for many. The boys accused the girls of hypocrisy, leading to a divide. Mica asked, "I don't know what we've done," and Ellie added, "What are they so vexed at?" Ope commented, "The wandering eye thing is quite mad," as Simba seemed to get a free pass while Ope was called out for the same thing. Aidan agreed, asking, "Apparently it's okay now?"
Later, Priya and Samraj argued on the day beds after Samraj called her 'embarrassing,' prompting a 'f*** off' from Priya.
Aidan Confronts Jasmine
Aidan then pulled Jasmine aside for a chat, confronting her about her behavior during the challenge and saying it was 'off putting.' The confrontation upset Jasmine, who stormed off to the dressing room in tears. Priya comforted her.
Kavan, Aidan's brother, questioned him, "What have you done?" Aidan apologized for upsetting his sibling's partner but insisted he was in the right. Yasmin disagreed.
