Speculation is mounting over potential bombshells for Love Island's Casa Amor, with an Irish influencer and a former flame of current contestant Sean Fitzgerald reportedly in the running. The ITV dating show, now in its 13th series, has seen relentless drama, including love triangles and surprise entrances since its premiere this month.
Only one public vote has occurred so far, where viewers chose their preferred male and female contestants. Recent episodes saw those with the fewest votes at risk. Ultimately, Lorenzo and Ellie, who topped the poll, eliminated Tommy and Tina. However, fans are already anticipating the show's signature twist that tests relationships: Casa Amor.
New Bombshells with Existing Links
Previous bombshells have arrived with surprising connections to current Islanders. Now, it is claimed that one of their former partners could be preparing to feature in Casa Amor, according to reports from OK! magazine. Casa Amor typically occurs mid-series, splitting couples into two villas, with six new Islanders joining each location.
According to Goss.ie, Irish influencer Charleen Murphy is set to shake things up in Casa Amor. Despite sharing a surname with brothers Aidan and Kavan, and the recently departed Tommy, she is not related to them. Charleen, who boasts over 400,000 Instagram followers, frequently posts about beauty products and trends. She reportedly ended a relationship with her boyfriend recently.
A source told Goss.ie: "Charleen flew over to Palma to meet with Love Island producers today. There's been so much buzz around her going on the show, but now it looks like it's finally about to happen." Fans have been querying her posts about the rumours, but she has yet to respond publicly.
Sean Fitzgerald's Ex Lined Up
Goss.ie also suggests that Irish radio presenter Helen Galgey, Sean Fitzgerald's ex-girlfriend, could make a surprise Casa Amor appearance. Odds have shortened for her dramatic entrance. She has stated she will be "watching (the show) like a hawk" but won't regularly comment on events.
Last week, she shared Instagram stories about attempting to catch a flight but being denied at the gate due to a damaged passport. She sought help for an emergency replacement. The tales were posted under the heading 'Airport reject', with a concluding reel labelled "What's meant for you won't pass you by" and a picture of current Love Island star Lorenzo Alessi.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
