PR and culture expert Nick Ede has given his take on which Love Island Series 13 stars are likely to earn the most following their appearance on the show. His prediction might surprise fans, as he suggests that Ellie Chadwick is set to see the most success, potentially raking in as much as £1m over the next year.
Winners and Runners-Up
The 13th series of the ITV2 reality show aired its live final on Monday night (July 27), with Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak being crowned winners and bagging the £50,000 prize pot. The pair secured the lion's share of the public vote, followed by runners-up Jasmine Muller and Kavan Murphy, and third-place couple Angelista Gunda and Simba Kudyiwa.
Ede predicted that Lorenzo and Julia could each earn between £500,000 and £800,000. Kavan and Jasmine could take home between £300,000 and £500,000 each, while Simba and Angelista may earn between £150,000 and £300,000 each.
Ellie Chadwick: Potential Millionaire
Despite not winning, Ellie Chadwick emerged as a standout star due to her straight-talking attitude and handbag-carrying habit, something none of the other villa residents did. She also chose to leave voluntarily to follow her partner Finley Maddock, who had been voted out by fellow contestants.
"She's been one of the most-loved girls throughout the series and walking away with Finley only boosts her authentic appeal. Fashion and beauty brands want someone audiences genuinely connect with, and Ellie has that in abundance," Nick disclosed in a conversation with Mecca Bingo.
Ede predicts Ellie could earn between £600,000 and £1 million, while Finley may earn between £150,000 and £300,000.
Other Contestants' Potential Earnings
Nick also provided predictions for other couples: Tommy and Yasmin (£250,000 to £450,000 each), Samraj and Mica (£75,000 to £200,000 each), and Aidan (£150,000 to £400,000) and Priya (£100,000+).
"Winning Love Island isn't the prize it once was. We won't get another Maura Higgins or Olivia Attwood or even a Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies. The real winners are the contestants who leave with loyal fans rather than just a trophy. Brands are buying authenticity nowadays and less interested in actual airtime," Ede added.
"Lorenzo is my standout male star, while Ellie could become the biggest earner of the entire cast. Sometimes leaving without the crown and pressure of being a winner turns out to be the smartest career move of all."
