Love Is Blind UK star Katisha has spoken out for the first time since her dramatic exit from the Netflix series. The Scottish nanny left the show after discovering her fiancé Javen had openly flirted with other contestants while she was left at home in tears.
Katisha, who had been struggling to communicate with 28-year-old health coach Javen, decided to end their engagement after another cast member informed her of his behaviour. She left a note with her engagement ring, stating she could no longer marry him.
Taking to Instagram, Katisha shared the lessons she learned from the experience. 'It's ok to leave a situation that isn't serving you,' she wrote. 'What's for you will not go by you. Not all your experiences define you, even though the internet seems to think otherwise.'
Fans have flooded her social media with support, with one commenting: 'Honestly girl you deserve so much more.' Another added: 'We are all so proud of you, you put yourself first.' Katisha's exit leaves four remaining couples as the final episodes air this week, with the remaining couples heading to the altar.
Meanwhile, Javen has also addressed the controversy, promising to share the 'full story' once the series concludes. He wrote: 'Overwhelmed with all the love (& the hate). When the time is right, I will give you the truth.'
