Lorraine Kelly Takes Swipe at Liz Hurley's 'Too Much' NTAs Dress

Lorraine Kelly has admitted she found Liz Hurley's outfit at the National Television Awards to be 'too much'. The 65-year-old daytime host made the comment on her ITV show on Thursday, a day after the ceremony, where Hurley, 60, wore a low-cut dress that left little to the imagination.

Discussing the event with Vogue Williams and Mark Heyes, Kelly appeared shocked when a picture of Hurley appeared on screen. She said: 'Those bazookas! Good grief! The woman is 60 years old. For me, it was wee bit too much!' The trio burst into laughter as Williams suggested Kelly wear a similar outfit to the BAFTAs.

Mark Heyes noted the dress was 'basically a swimsuit', and Kelly added: 'Do you know what, if you can do it. She did carry it off, but my goodness, extraordinary!' Later, singer Rick Astley joked that he 'doesn't look like Liz Hurley' despite also approaching 60, to which Kelly replied: 'I'm still in shock, frankly!'

Hurley attended the NTAs with her new beau, Billy Ray Cyrus, 64. According to The Sun, the couple were overheard outside her dressing room, with Hurley saying 'You've made it' and Cyrus replying 'Of course I made it, I wouldn't miss it.' Hurley later presented an award with Rob Rinder, who cheekily praised her appearance as 'defying gravity'.

The romance between Hurley and Cyrus became public earlier this year. Hurley has expressed optimism about their future together, describing the relationship as 'unexpected' but hoping for a 'great life' together.
