Lorna Luxe has announced the death of her husband, John Andrews, after a battle with terminal adrenal cancer. The influencer shared the news on Instagram, revealing that John died at home, holding her hand, exactly as he had wanted.
John was first diagnosed with stage four adrenal cancer in April 2023. After treatment, he entered remission, but the cancer returned in 2024 and spread to his brain. He underwent surgery and defied the odds, but later developed sepsis over Christmas and was told that treatment was no longer an option.
In a heartfelt statement, Lorna said: 'My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken. We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands.' She added that their last conversation ended with him saying he felt 'rough but in love', and she praised the district nurses, particularly Anna, for their care.
The couple, married for 16 years, had been keeping followers updated on John's condition. Earlier in February, Lorna postponed a charity event for Maggie's Cancer Care and The Meath Epilepsy Charity to be by his side. She expressed gratitude for the support they received during his final days.
