Influencer Lorna Luxe has announced the death of her husband, John Andrews, following a battle with cancer. He was first diagnosed with adrenal cancer in April 2023, and after entering remission, the disease returned in 2024 and spread to his brain.
In a heartfelt statement on Instagram, Lorna wrote: "My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken. We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted." She added that their last conversation ended with him saying he felt "rough but in love."
Lorna expressed gratitude to the district nurses who provided care, particularly a nurse named Anna, whom she described as a "real life angel." She also thanked her mother for support during John's final days.
Earlier this year, Lorna had shared that John's cancer had progressed to other organs and that treatment was no longer an option. Despite this, she said they remained hopeful, describing John as "the bravest person I know."
The couple had been married for 16 years. Lorna previously postponed a charity event to be by his side as his health declined.
