Influencer Lorna Luxe, 43, has shared a poignant unseen video of her late husband John Andrews, describing the experience as bittersweet as she watches back footage of him. John, who co-founded Lorna's brand L.A-Space, passed away in February at the age of 64 after a battle with stage four adrenal cancer.
A Heartfelt Tribute to a Lost Love
Lorna admitted she is 'so grateful' to have hours of footage of John, who regularly featured on her social media platforms. The newly released video shows John gazing adoringly at his wife as she arrives in shot in her dressing gown, ready to film one of their regular Instagram updates.
'A camera roll full of outtakes… we never did reshoots we just left the camera running and I’m so grateful we did,' Lorna captioned the sweet video on her social media account.
The Tragic Cancer Battle
John was originally diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2023. After a period of remission, his cancer returned the following year, spreading aggressively to his brain. The millionaire banker was rushed back to hospital with organ failure following a complication with his chemotherapy treatment and fell ill with sepsis shortly before Christmas.
Doctors told Lorna to 'prepare for the worst,' but John managed to return home in time to spend Christmas Day with his wife before ultimately passing away on February 11.
Returning to Their 'Ghost House'
Earlier this month, Lorna struggled to hold back tears while preparing to revisit the sprawling Warwickshire home she shared with her late husband just weeks after his death. The couple had moved out of their £2.5 million home in sleepy Moreton Paddox - famously referred to as 'Ghost House' - in 2025 while extensive renovations took place.
Tragically, John died before they could move back into their renovated home. Lorna was forced to return alone for a progress report, telling followers that the prospect of visiting the three-bedroom Warwickshire property without her husband was 'bittersweet.'
Renovation Delays and Emotional Challenges
'I'm having to be John today and head to Ghost House in a bit for the quarterly site progress meeting,' Lorna wrote on social media. 'All the contractors working the site are going to walk me through their plans, and then I get to share anything I want changing. We were both so excited to get back to there. Very bittersweet this.'
In a second emotional post, she appeared to fight back tears while outlining her plans to return home for the site visit. Work on the home is currently months over the planned six-month timeframe, with completion now expected in August.
'I've been told it's going to be August that I get the house back, so it'll have been a year since John and I moved out,' Lorna explained. 'It's meant to be six months, so massively over the time frame, but I think I'm going to get a house back that I'm really happy with. And yeah, be really nice to be home. I'm really missing it now.'
A Love Story Spanning Decades
The influencer met John when she was 25 and in the midst of an eight-year stint as a Virgin Atlantic air hostess. The couple married in New York City and went on to live together in Hove, East Sussex, and later Horsham and Warwickshire during their 16-year marriage.
Secrets to Their Lasting Relationship
Lorna previously admitted the couple kept the romance alive by using separate bathrooms at their rural home, telling social media followers: 'I don't know if this is an "us" thing, but me and John don't share bathrooms. Maybe this is why we've lasted so long.'
She added: 'One dynamic in our relationship that has never changed is that he organises everything. I just have to turn up and ideally look cute. He's been treating me like a princess since the day we met. I'm very happy about that. He will always find a way to surprise me.'
The unseen video serves as a touching memorial to their relationship, capturing intimate moments that Lorna now treasures as she navigates life without her beloved husband.
