Elizabeth Hurley celebrated her 61st birthday on Wednesday by sharing a stunning bikini photo on Instagram, prompting a loving response from her boyfriend, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. The actress, best known for her roles in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and Bedazzled, posed in a tiny yellow string bikini while holding a tie-dye towel.

Hurley Reflects on Happiness

In a heartfelt caption, Hurley wrote: "Happy Birthday to me! I used to fear that as every year passed, my life might get less exciting and I'd get more and more world weary… but I'm pleased to tell you that if you hang on in and keep your chin up, nothing could be further from the truth." She added that she is happier than ever and grateful for the people around her.

"I am loving my life today. I'm truly blessed and grateful to be surrounded by the most extraordinary friends and family, all of whom make my life a whole lot better and whom I love with all of my heart," she continued. Hurley also thanked her fans for their loyalty and kindness, saying: "This year has been a helluva ride already and I can't wait to see what's next."

Billy Ray Cyrus Expresses Love

Among the flood of birthday wishes was a gushing comment from her partner, Billy Ray Cyrus. He wrote: "Love love love. So proud of you. Can't wait for the next chapter." The couple went public with their romance in 2025 after years of friendship.

Cyrus Opens Up About Personal Struggles

Meanwhile, Cyrus also made headlines on Wednesday after appearing on the cover of People magazine. In the interview, he discussed the challenges he faced following his 2024 divorce from Firerose. "Sometimes change is scary, and I'll keep doing the wrong thing for a long time because I'm scared of change," he said. "But when I finally do get the courage up to commit in my mind and say, 'I'm going to do this,' then that's the way it is. No looking back. I think that's maybe sometimes good for everyone — to just let go."

Reflecting on one of the lowest periods of his life, Cyrus revealed the experience forced him to reassess both himself and his family relationships. "When you're completely on the bottom, that is the only way to go - up," he said. The singer, who shares children Miley, Braison, and Noah with ex-wife Tish Cyrus, and also adopted Tish's older children Brandi and Trace, as well as having a son named Christopher, said rebuilding those family bonds has been rewarding. "Life is a series of adjustments, and I think my family always knew that. We've all been through a lot, and we've seen a lot. Whatever happened is in the rear-view mirror. The past is over and done. The future is what we have, and we got to look forward," he added.

Cyrus is now preparing to release The Hill, his first full studio album in more than a decade, on June 16. The album takes its name from a hill on his Nashville property where his late mother, Ruthie, is buried — a place he has returned to repeatedly during difficult moments.
