What Is Little Disasters About?

Adapted from Sarah Vaughan's bestselling novel, the series follows four women—Jess, Liz, Mel, and Charlotte—who met as expectant mothers and have supported each other through parenthood. When perfect stay-at-home mother Jess takes her baby daughter to hospital with a head injury she cannot explain, her friend and A&E doctor Liz must decide whether to call social services. That phone call sets off a chain of events that threatens to destroy their families and friendship group. As police and social services investigate, each woman confronts the question: 'Am I a bad mother?'
