Singer-songwriter Lisa Moorish has launched a scathing attack on Lady Victoria Hervey after the socialite made controversial comments about the Epstein Files. Lady Hervey, who briefly dated Prince Andrew in the late 1990s, said individuals not named in the files were 'losers' and claimed she does not believe Jeffrey Epstein is dead.
In an interview with LBC, Lady Hervey argued that because Epstein 'knew everybody that was powerful', it was an 'insult' to those who were 'on the scene' but not named in the documents. She also questioned the authenticity of a photograph showing Prince Andrew with Virginia Giuffre and suggested Epstein might be living in Israel.
Lisa Moorish, who shares a daughter with Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, responded on Instagram. She called Lady Hervey 'disgusting' and claimed the socialite would 'follow me around, trying to be my friend' during their 1990s clubbing days. Moorish added: 'I thought you were a boring d**k... Everyone thought you were naff as f**k love.'
Moorish also hit out at Lady Hervey's reasoning, writing: 'Someone said you're doing all this because you're skint and haven't got a rich boyfriend to pay for your trips to Ibiza. You are DISGUSTING.' Lady Hervey, who is mentioned more than 20 times in the Epstein Files, later defended her comments, saying 'smart people' understood her meaning and that humour was needed.
