Lisa Armstrong has finally severed all remaining ties with her ex-husband Ant McPartlin after selling the former marital home in West London. The five-bedroom property, described as the 'last link' to their troubled relationship, has been sold subject to contracts for £3.2 million.
The house, which the couple originally purchased for £2.3 million in 2006, had been on the market for over two years. A source close to Armstrong said she was 'delighted that the last remnants of her marriage has been finally put to bed.' The sale follows a fire in September 2023 that caused over £1 million in damage, and the property was initially listed for £4 million in May 2024.
Armstrong, a make-up artist, had been renting out the property after her divorce from the I'm a Celebrity presenter. The sale comes shortly after the death of her dog Hurley, another link to McPartlin, which ended all contact between them. Hurley had been at the centre of a custody battle during the divorce, with Armstrong and her mother managing handovers.
Armstrong divorced McPartlin in January 2018, two months before he was involved in a drink-driving crash. McPartlin later admitted the offence and was fined £86,000, banned from driving for 20 months, and took a break from TV. He is now married to his former assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, with whom he has a son, Wilder, born in May 2024.
Since the divorce, Armstrong has built a property portfolio, reportedly using a £31 million settlement to buy a house near Oxford in 2024 and a £3.8 million home in West London in 2020.
