Lisa Armstrong, the celebrated make-up artist and former wife of television presenter Ant McPartlin, has reportedly found love again. Armstrong, 49, is said to be quietly dating 34-year-old actor Grant Kilburn, a relationship that began after an introduction by her close friends and Strictly Come Dancing colleagues.

A New Chapter After a Public Split

The news marks a fresh start for Armstrong following her highly publicised and painful divorce from Ant McPartlin in 2018 after 12 years of marriage. A source close to the couple revealed that the new romance has "put the smile back on her face," but emphasised that both parties are taking things slowly. "Lisa and Grant have really hit it off," the source told the Daily Mail, adding that the relationship is in its "early stages" and they are "keeping it low-key" due to Armstrong's past experiences with public relationships.

Armstrong and McPartlin's split was a major tabloid story, compounded when Ant later married the couple's former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, in 2021. The pair welcomed their first child last year. Armstrong herself had a subsequent relationship with electrician James Green, but the couple parted ways in 2023.

How the Pair Were Introduced

The matchmaking credit goes to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, the Strictly duo who are also in a relationship. Dooley and Clifton are currently starring in the UK touring production of 2:22 A Ghost Story alongside Grant Kilburn. It is believed the introduction took place in early October when the play was at the Theatre Royal in Brighton.

Despite busy schedules—with Kilburn on tour and Armstrong working on the current series of Strictly Come Dancing—the pair are said to make time for each other when possible. The source stated they are navigating the relationship "one day at a time."

Overcoming Personal Challenges

Both Armstrong and Kilburn have faced significant personal challenges in recent years. For Armstrong, 2023 was particularly difficult, encompassing her breakup with James Green and a fire that damaged her £5 million home in Chiswick, which she purchased after her divorce.

Kilburn, meanwhile, suffered a life-altering health scare at the age of just 23, when he collapsed after having a stroke caused by two blood clots at the base of his brain. He has since become an advocate, helping to raise awareness for the Stroke Association.

At the end of 2024, Armstrong appeared to signal her readiness to move forward, posting a hopeful message on social media: "You spent 2024 in survival mode. 2025 is your time to rise, rebuild, and thrive." This new relationship with Grant Kilburn suggests she is firmly on that path to rebuilding her life and finding happiness once more.
