Lisa Armstrong, the make-up artist for Strictly Come Dancing, has reportedly found romance with actor Grant Kilburn, 34, who is 15 years her junior. The pair have been quietly dating since December, according to a source close to the 49-year-old.
The source said Armstrong, who was married to TV presenter Ant McPartlin for 11 years until their divorce in 2018, is enjoying a 'fresh start' with Kilburn. 'She’s been so used to being in relationships where she played second fiddle. This time, she’s number one,' the source claimed. 'She’s taking it slow, she doesn’t want to get hurt again – but she’s being treated like a princess.'
Armstrong was introduced to Kilburn by her friends, former Strictly professional Kevin Clifton and his partner Stacey Dooley. The couple had been touring with Kilburn in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story until the end of 2025. It is believed Armstrong met Kilburn in October when the play was performed at the Theatre Royal in Brighton.
Armstrong's previous relationship with electrician James Green ended in 2023, and her £5 million Chiswick home was severely damaged in a fire that same year. Despite these setbacks, the source said Armstrong is not concerned about the age gap. 'Lisa’s not at all bothered about the age difference, or what anyone else might think about it. She actually loves dating a younger man,' the source added.
Kilburn, who starred as Ben in the West End production of 2:22: A Ghost Story, suffered a stroke at the age of 23 in 2014, which inspired him to help others. Armstrong ended 2024 with an emotional social media post that read: 'You spent 2024 in survival mode. 2025 is your time to rise, rebuild, and thrive.'
