Lily James turned heads at the UK premiere of her latest film 'What's Love Got to Do With It?' in a daring citrus green custom Miu Miu gown featuring visible white bra straps and corset bones, embracing the underwear-as-outerwear trend.
The actress, known for her role in 'Cinderella', worked with stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray to create the look, which included jewellery from Nour by Jahan, Jimmy Choo platforms, and wet-look tousled waves by hairstylist Halley Brisker. Her makeup was a soft pink creation by Sofia Tilbury using Charlotte Tilbury's new Pillow Talk matte beauty blush.
The visible lingerie trend has been prominent since autumn 2022, with celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Julia Fox, and Rita Ora sporting similar styles. Lily's gown featured a built-in sheer white bra with visible bones, creating a plunging neckline and a sultry aesthetic.
The film, also starring Emma Thompson, is set for release on 24 February.
