Singer Lily Allen has confirmed she has left the New York townhouse she shared with ex-husband David Harbour and purchased a flat in London. The 40-year-old, who split from the Stranger Things actor last year, told The Mirror that decorating her new home has helped her through a 'hard time'.
Allen, who has two daughters, bought the Brooklyn property with Harbour shortly after their 2020 wedding in Las Vegas. The art deco home was featured in Architectural Digest. However, she now says she felt 'incredibly low' and lonely in New York, adding that she 'doesn't have that much to do here'.
The new flat, believed to be in Notting Hill, is in a social housing building. Allen discussed the purchase on her Miss Me? podcast in March, saying she had wanted to live in the building since childhood and that she does not feel she is gentrifying the area because she grew up nearby.
Allen and Harbour, 50, called it quits last year amid reports of infidelity. The singer has since been linked to actor James Norton, but a source told the Mirror that Norton has been seen getting 'cosy' with another woman. Allen has reportedly signed up to dating app Raya.
