Former Love Island star Liberty Poole has announced her split from musician Joshua Raybould after just over a year together. The 25-year-old reality TV personality shared the news in a statement on social media, saying the break-up was due to an 'irreversible breakdown in communication'.
Liberty, who rose to fame on ITV2's Love Island in 2021, confirmed her romance with Joshua, 28, last summer after appearing on the All Stars spin-off earlier that year. She later revealed they had known each other for years.
In her statement, Liberty said there was 'no scandal' or cheating involved. She described the relationship as her 'first serious relationship' and the first time she had lived with a partner. 'Unfortunately life's no fairytale,' she wrote.
Liberty added that she and Joshua have parted 'amicably' and she wishes him well. She said she is focusing on her healing and her new swimwear brand, Uplifted the Label, which she launched last month.
