Kate Cassidy, the former girlfriend of late One Direction star Liam Payne, has shared a new TikTok video appearing to show her on a double date. The 27-year-old posted the clip over the weekend, captioning it 'Double date saga', as she and a friend quizzed two potential suitors on their sporting interests.
In the video, Cassidy and her friend asked the men about lacrosse, football, cricket and soccer, with the pair appearing confused. Cassidy quipped, 'Do you know how to score any points?' The footage was overlaid with the text: 'POV you and your friend are carrying the double date.'
Cassidy dated Payne for around two years before his death in October 2024 at the age of 31, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. She previously told fans she was 'ready to start dating again' but insisted she would 'always love Liam'.
Alongside the dating clip, Cassidy also shared a throwback photo of herself and Payne, set to the Mac Miller track 'Cinderella'. She wrote: 'Love u 4ever'. In April, she said on Instagram that she wanted to have a family and believed Payne would want her to be happy.
Payne's fortune, estimated at £21 million, is reportedly set to go to his son Bear, whom he had with ex-girlfriend Cheryl. The nine-year-old's trust will be administered until his 18th birthday.
