Liam Neeson's family have quietly shown their support for his budding romance with Pamela Anderson, after the actor's son and former sister-in-law publicly endorsed the relationship.
The Taken star, 73, and Baywatch icon, 58, met as co-stars on the set of their new action comedy, The Naked Gun, and their chemistry blossomed off-screen. Anderson shared a series of snaps on Instagram, prompting Neeson's son Daniel Jack Neeson to comment with celebratory emojis.
Joely Richardson, sister of Neeson's late wife Natasha Richardson, also appeared to celebrate the couple with red heart emojis. Anderson's sons from her marriage to Tommy Lee also voiced their approval.
A source told People magazine that the pair are "smitten" and have been dating for a while, with Neeson doing sweet things like sending flowers. Neeson previously told People he was "madly in love with her", while Anderson called him "the perfect gentleman".
The Naked Gun is the fourth big-screen instalment of the crime-spoof comedy franchise, which started with the ABC series Police Squad! in 1982.
