HGTV star Leslie Davis has opened up about her recent family holiday to California with her new fiancé, Don Reidy, and her teenage sons, after confirming that she and her first husband Jacob Davis separated in 2022.
The 42-year-old television personality shared photos on Instagram of the trip, which included visits to Universal Studios, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Santa Monica Pier. “Spent last weekend in the California sun, soaking up time with my boys and laughing our way through amusement parks,” she wrote in the caption.
Leslie announced her engagement to Don Reidy on 15 January, posting a photo of the pair in the snow with her ring. She explained in a blog post that they met on season five of Rock the Block, where she competed alongside her twin sister Lyndsay and Don worked as a specialty carpenter.
In the same blog post, Leslie addressed fans’ confusion about her marital status, stating that she had kept the split private to protect her family. “Jacob and I made the very tough but right decision for our family to part ways in 2022, allowing us to create a happy, loving, and stable home to raise our three boys,” she wrote.
Leslie added that her sons Kyler, Cash and Cole have grown close to Don, who moved in with the family in Washington state. She emphasised that she and Jacob “will always share love for each other, just now in a new way”.
