In a statement shared with fans, Lewis expressed her disappointment, saying she had been battling a sore throat for several days and that attempting to push through the show had left her feeling worse. She described the decision as 'heartbreaking' and confirmed she would be focusing on recovery and vocal rest to return stronger.
The 'Bleeding Love' star also provided instructions for ticket holders, directing them to contact the venue's email address to arrange refunds or reschedule for a later date. Fans responded with messages of support, wishing her a speedy recovery.
This cancellation comes shortly after Lewis spoke about her marriage to husband Dennis Jauch, with whom she shares a three-year-old daughter. She recounted how Jauch once caught her on stage during her Labyrinth Tour, jokingly saying she 'had to marry him'. The couple wed in 2019.
