Lee Andrews, the husband of Katie Price, has faced a wave of criticism from fans after debuting a new toupee on social media. The 43-year-old, who was recently released from Al Awir prison in Dubai on fraud allegations (which he insists were espionage charges), has been spending time with Price, 48, in Dubai. He previously sported a shaved head but now appears with a full head of hair, which Katie revealed on her podcast is a temporary toupee while he considers a hair transplant.

On Thursday, July 4, Katie shared a photo of the couple enjoying the Dubai heat on Instagram. Fans quickly flooded the comments with mockery. One user wrote: "It's one of those stick-on hair pieces." Another fumed: "Give the wig a name!" A third asked: "What the toupee is going on here?" A fourth commented: "Of course he has – and it's not a very good one!" while a fifth sneered: "Made from pure guinea pig. Guinea wig!"
Reinvention and AI-Generated Hair
Lee has also posted videos showing off different "hairstyles" generated using AI. In one clip from a barber shop, he said: "So this is when you try to reinvent yourself. This is a wet through messy look. But we are slowly getting there. It's not too bad is it. This is a massive reinvention." He added: "Thank you to this guy... love it. It's a bit pineapple-y side at the moment but I don't mind it seems to do the job. I'll play around with it and see what's what. It's a good job isn't it!"
Lee has joked about needing to travel to Turkey for a hair transplant. Despite the backlash, he continues to enjoy his time with Katie, who has been snubbing work commitments to be with him.
