Lauren Goodger's friends have expressed concern that her whirlwind romance with Charles Drury may be over by Christmas, according to a source. The former TOWIE star moved the builder into her Essex home after just three weeks of dating, prompting fears among her inner circle that the relationship is moving too fast.
“They've told her they reckon the honeymoon period will be over within weeks and they could risk splitting by Christmas if she isn't careful,” a source told new magazine. The source added that friends believe Lauren “always moves at lightning-fast speed and falls hard and fast, which is why her relationships crash and burn.”
Despite the concerns, the 34-year-old has insisted that this time is different. One friend noted that Lauren has a tendency to rush into things but is “adamant it's different this time around.” Lauren’s past relationships include an on-off engagement with Mark Wright and fleeting romances with jailed men Jake McLean and Joey Morrison.
Lauren initially kept the romance under wraps but later made it Instagram official. The couple have since shared flirty messages, with Lauren writing, “You make me happy @charlesdrury1,” and Charles replying, “Positive vibes & good times baby.” Charles also defended their 11-year age gap after a troll warned him that Lauren was “begging for marriage and kids,” stating that age means nothing when you meet someone with a beautiful soul.
