Former Towie star Lauren Goodger has announced the death of her newborn baby daughter, Lorena, who passed away at two days old on Friday. The 35-year-old reality television personality shared the news on Instagram, describing herself as 'broken' and saying 'words can't describe as a mother losing your baby'.

Ms Goodger, who rose to fame on ITV's The Only Way is Essex, revealed that Lorena was born 'with no pregnancy or labour complications' and was a 'perfect' and 'healthy' baby. She expressed her grief, stating she will 'never ever get over this' but will learn to live with Lorena in her heart.

The star, who has 750,000 Instagram followers, had announced her pregnancy in January and posted on 28 June about awaiting the birth, calling it 'another new chapter of my life'. She has asked photographers to respect her privacy as she and her family grieve.
