The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger has celebrated turning 40 by sharing a series of photos on Instagram, showing off her curves in a corset. The TOWIE personality reached the milestone on September 19 and later posted about her big day on social media.
Birthday celebrations at Sheesh
The mother was joined by friends at the Sheesh restaurant in Chigwell, Essex, where she posed outside in a plunging top. She paired the look with matching leggings before going inside, where staff surprised her with a dessert topped with a cake sparkler.
Reacting to the post, one of Lauren's one million followers wrote: "You are absolutely stunning." Another commented: "Beautiful inside and out… you really shone this season of TOWIE." A third said: "You look absolutely gorgeous my favourite queen," while a fourth added: "The most beautiful girl on TOWIE hands down! Have a lovely birthday."
Possible TOWIE spin-off
TOWIE is reportedly set to get a new spin-off series that could bring together some of the show's biggest names for explosive reunions. According to The Sun, the production team pitched the format to ITV, who are believed to have given the idea the go-ahead.
The source suggested there is no shortage of powerful topics for producers to explore, including Lauren speaking about the loss of her baby daughter Lorena and Harry Derbidge discussing his experience with an eating disorder.
Lauren's personal journey
Last month, Lauren broke down after announcing she wants to become a mother again following the death of her baby and two miscarriages. She gave birth to her second child with ex-boyfriend Charles Drury in 2022, but the baby died moments later due to a lack of oxygen.
In a recent TOWIE episode, during Sophie Kasaei's mother's blessing ceremony, Lauren said she could not wait to meet Sophie's baby and told her: "I'm just like enjoying this through you as well." Asked if she wants another baby, Lauren replied: "I do, yeah," and as she wiped away tears, she was told another baby is "pending".
Sophie then told her: "How you can sit there for me and be strong for me with all the other girls and support me after what you've been through. Like you know, I'm so grateful for you for being there for us as well. Thank you."
Lauren is mother to Larose, 5, who she shares with former partner Charles Drury.
