Laura Anderson has jetted off on holiday with the ex-wife of her former partner, Gary Lucy. The pair, along with Laura and Gary's daughter, Bonnie, have flown to Turkey for a break away in the sun, though some fans have called their friendship "weird."
Bonding Over Shared Trauma
The two women say they have bonded over their 'shared trauma' with the Hollyoaks actor, 44. Gary has been locked in a bitter war of words with Laura over their daughter Bonnie for the last few months. While he split from ex-wife Natasha, who he was married to between 2014 and 2018, after she confronted him over his party boy lifestyle.
Laura accused the actor of not seeing their daughter Bonnie. However, sources claimed to us that Laura had made it "difficult" for "everybody to see Bonnie."
Blended Family Holiday
Natasha is said to have been Laura's "rock" in recent months. And now they are both in Turkey, topping up their tan on what they called their 'blended family holiday.' Some social media users said they were confused by the friendship while others deemed it 'hilarious.'
As Laura shared a video of her and Bonnie at the airport, she captioned her upload: "We can't wait to see you @natasha_v_lucy." Writing over her video, she added: "Holiday time as a blended family..." Her post, which has been liked over 4,000 times, was flooded with praise, with Natasha writing: "Can't wait to see you both."
"Love this so much," said one user. "This is so lovely to see," said a second. While a third added: "So here for this!!!!! You beautiful woman! Raising incredible children!" Meanwhile, a fourth typed: "So here for blended families! Especially when 2 women are raising their children in such a way!" And a fifth commented: "This is everything. What a special thing to do as a blended family. Have the most wonderful time!"
But not everybody was excited, with one user penning: "Find it weird ur friends with your baby daddy's ex-wife." Not rising to the criticism, Laura simply responded, asking: "Why?"
Source on the Friendship
Previously, a source told the Daily Mail: "[Natasha] had a good idea what Gary would do because of her own experience and how traumatising it would be for Laura as she had been through it all with him. She immediately reached out to Laura and had been a rock to her ever since. The women stick together and make sure their children aren't strangers."
Both women believe they have suffered and Natasha has found it hard watching how things have been unfolding for Laura. He's a pinup and a heartthrob and a TV star etc but in real life the women think he's worse than any baddie on TV.
Previous Claims
Laura previously branded Gary a "narcissist," which led to him hitting out at Laura on social media. She later revealed that he is saved in her phone as "Lucifer" – in Christian theology, Lucifer is a fallen angel who rebelled against God.
Following Laura's claims about him online, Gary shared a quote which read: "The narcissists greatest asset for leverage is a child. Children of narcissists are collateral damage in their game of control. Don't forget... exploiting the child for financial gain on socials anything to keeps em 'relevant' [sic]."
