Country music star Lainey Wilson has revealed that her upcoming wedding to former Pittsburgh Steelers player Devlin 'Duck' Hodges will feature a jazz band rather than a lineup of country artists. The singer shared the plan in an interview with Taste of Country Nights, explaining that she and her fiancé are 'going the jazz route' for their big day.
Wilson, 32, announced her engagement in February 2025 with a series of photos showing the couple outside a mansion, with framed pictures, candles and red roses decorating the front step. Her engagement ring, estimated to cost $250,000, features three diamonds of around 2.5 carats each arranged like a flower, according to diamond expert Mike Fried.
The singer joked that her father will give her away and that he is unlikely to cry, saying, 'I ain’t seen that man cry once in my whole life.' She also predicted that Duck will be emotional, stating, 'Duck will be a mess' when she walks down the aisle.
Wilson and Hodges met in 2021 and kept their relationship private before going public at the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards in 2023. Wilson previously joked about proposing to Hodges, telling Taste of Country, 'I guess I'm going to propose cause his [expletive] ain't proposed to me.' She praised Hodges as 'good as gold' and supportive of her career.
