Laguna Beach Star Stephen Colletti Welcomes First Child

Stephen Colletti, known for his role on Laguna Beach, and his wife Alex Weaver, a NASCAR on Fox reporter and host, announced on Thursday the arrival of their first child. The 40-year-old former Traitors contestant and the 32-year-old SiriusXM presenter shared a joint Instagram photo of their newborn son, Rhodes August Colletti, whose middle name honors his famous father.

Timing of the Birth

Based on the timeline, Weaver was likely around two months pregnant when she married Colletti in a courthouse ceremony on October 3. The couple announced their pregnancy news on January 20.

Colletti and Weaver began their relationship with a first date on November 15, 2021, and went Instagram official on August 17, 2022.

Colletti on Fatherhood

In an interview with People last month, Colletti expressed his readiness for the changes fatherhood would bring: "It sounds crazy, but I'm ready for my life to be put upside down in that way. I've been watching my wife take on pregnancy and she's been such a superhero, such a bada**."

The California native feels "fortunate" about this "next chapter" with his wife, who is from North Carolina. "We're going to be experiencing it together. And I know we're going to have a lot, a lot to learn," he added.

Colletti's Past Relationships and Career

Colletti previously dated his Laguna Beach co-stars Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad, as well as Nashville alum Hayden Panettiere and former Disney Channel star Chelsea Kane. He executive produced and appeared alongside two of his exes in the two-hour special The Reunion: Laguna Beach, which aired on April 10 on The Roku Channel.

The reality show, which aired for three seasons from 2004 to 2006, spawned several spin-offs including MTV's The Hills, E!'s Very Cavallari, and MTV's The Hills: New Beginnings.

Colletti and his Everyone is Doing Great co-creator James Lafferty are scheduled to appear at an event for their Netflix series on May 28 during the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas.

The avid golfer is also known for his work as a VJ on MTV's TRL, as Chase Adams on The CW's teen soap One Tree Hill, and as Taylor Swift's love interest in her 2008 music video for "White Horse."
