Kym Marsh left her bandmates in hysterics during a live interview on Thursday (8th October) when she poked fun about her love life. The 50-year-old is engaged to marry for a fourth time, having gone public with her partner Tom Dickinson last year.
The Morning Live presenter has been married three times, firstly to former EastEnders star Jack Ryder, followed by Jamie Lomas and Scott Ratcliff. She has three children David and Emilie with her former partner Dave Cunliffe and daughter Polly with Jamie.
Hear'Say and Liberty X reunite
Kym is one of the original members of Hear'Say, who are set to go on tour alongside Liberty X next year to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Those returning to perform the beloved hits include Kym, Suzanne Shaw, Danny Foster and Noel Sullivan from Hear'Say, along with Michelle Heaton, Jessica Taylor, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm and Kelli Young from Liberty X.
While promoting the tour, the groups were questioned about an alleged feud between them – a persistent rumour that has dogged them since they competed against one another on the television programme Popstars.
Joke about wedding attendance
Addressing the rumour, Michelle said: "I suppose the press built that case for us, it wasn't really warranted from our end." "But I think that was, kind of, looking back, it was inevitable because we were the final 10, we were made into two bands, so that was kind of going to happen."
When asked whether they would embrace and greet each other following the end of Popstars, Michelle highlighted that she attended Kym's wedding as a guest. In response, Kym quipped: "Which one?", prompting laughter in the studio.
Michelle, Jessica and Kelli were present at Kym's wedding to Jack, which was held at St Albans Cathedral in Hertfordshire. "It was a great wedding," Michelle remarked on the programme, to which the former Coronation Street actress agreed.
Engagement announcement
Last month, Kym shared various snaps of herself with her husband-to-be, who she described as her "best friend, rock [and] my everything". "This last year has been my favourite and I can't wait for our next adventure. Yours forever and always," she continued to gush.
While numerous fans expressed their support in the comments section, some were more critical when offering their opinions on her romantic life. She subsequently responded to the negativity on Instagram, posting: "Thank you for all the love! Don't worry about haters cos I don't."
Meanwhile, Myleene Klass recently explained why she won't be joining her former bandmates on tour. Speaking on Loose Women prior to the tour dates being confirmed, she said: "They were really sweet and they did include me in the discussions but it's not something I can commit to at the moment. I just really can't. I know that they're still figuring out a lot of the moving parts of it, and until they do that, there's nothing necessarily set in stone."
"I'm just super busy. I've got my work and I love the guys dearly. It was an incredibly important time in my life," she added. Myleene continued by saying she feels "super proud" to have been part of the group and when they were together they had a "really, really good time".
