Kym Marsh has declared she will never marry again following her split from boyfriend Samuel Thomas, who is 19 years her junior. The former Hear'Say singer, 48, had described him as her 'soulmate' when they went public last year.
The actress, who has been married three times, made the comments while promoting her upcoming role in a theatre production of Abigail's Party. She said: "I've been married three times, and three times it's not gone well – so no more for me. Three strikes and I'm out."
She was with actor Samuel, 29, who is the same age as her eldest child David Cunliffe, after her split from third husband Scott Ratcliff in 2023. Their relationship attracted criticism from fans who pointed out the age gap, prompting her to respond to one comment with "Do one."
Marsh's first marriage was to EastEnders actor Jack Ryder, whom she met at the BBC. They married in 2002 and separated in 2008, with their divorce announced in 2009. She later married Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas in 2012, but they split two years later.
Speaking about the public interest in her love life, she said: "Even when I've been doing interviews for jobs, people have asked me about my love life. I actually said to somebody once: 'Tell me about your love life.' It's just nonsense."
