Kylie Minogue's younger brother, Brendan Minogue, makes a brief appearance in the pop star's new Netflix documentary series, Kylie. The 55-year-old camera operator is seen in a family bonfire scene alongside his sisters Kylie and Dannii, as well as their parents Carol and Ronald.
Brendan, who prefers to stay out of the spotlight, has previously appeared in Kylie's 2001 special An Audience with Kylie Minogue. Despite his low profile, Kylie has spoken warmly of him, describing him as part of her support system. In a BBC interview, she revealed that Brendan taught her a stress-relief technique called the 'foofer valve', which involves making a hissing sound to release emotion.
The three-part documentary offers insight into Kylie's career and family life, featuring home movies and personal photographs. It explores how she has dealt with public scrutiny, personal loss, and illness. The series is available on Netflix, which is also offered as part of Sky's new Stream TV bundles.
