The reality star, 27, dined at Tassia Restaurant in the village of Fiscardo on July 12, prompting owners Polychronis Dendrinos and Tassia Dendrinou to share their excitement on Instagram.
The owners described Jenner as an “iconic entrepreneur and global trendsetter” and an “inspiring guest,” posting a photo of themselves with the star. However, the post was met with criticism from users who questioned why Jenner was treated as a special guest. One commenter wrote, “Honour? Why different from any other guest?” while another fumed, “Honour? For what? For being plastic and making young girls insecure about themselves?”
Some users explicitly stated they would avoid the restaurant because of the post. “Thanks! Now I know where NOT to go,” one person wrote. However, others defended the owners, suggesting the negative comments came from jealousy. “If I had Kylie come visit my restaurant I would post about it too,” one supporter said.
Jenner also shared a snap from the trip on her own social media, showing her and friend Anastasia Karanikolaou enjoying a meal by the harbour. The restaurant, known for its traditional home-cooked dishes and locally sourced produce, has hosted other celebrities before, including Demi Moore in 2022.
The backlash comes amid Jenner's reported absence from her half-brother Brody Jenner's wedding in Malibu. Sources told TMZ there is no bad blood between the siblings, suggesting Kylie and Kendall skipped the event to avoid drawing attention away from the couple.
