Kylie Jenner's Greek Restaurant Visit Sparks Online Backlash

Kylie Jenner's recent dining experience at a restaurant in Greece has ignited a wave of criticism online. The reality star, 27, visited Tassia Restaurant in the village of Fiscardo on July 12, much to the delight of the owners.

Owners Polychronis Dendrinos and Tassia Dendrinou took to Instagram to share their excitement, calling Jenner an 'iconic entrepreneur and global trendsetter'. They posted a photo of themselves flanking the star, describing her as 'an inspiring guest and one of the most influential women of her generation'.

However, the post was met with a backlash from social media users. One questioned: 'Honour? Why different from any other guest?' Another fumed: 'For [being] plastic [and lying] about it and [making] young girls insecure about [themselves]?' A third wrote: 'Thanks! Now I know where NOT to go.'

Despite the negativity, some defended the restaurant owners. One user commented: 'This comment section is so negative. If I had Kylie come visit my restaurant I would post about it too.' The restaurant, which boasts traditional home-cooked dishes using locally sourced produce, has also hosted other celebrities, including Demi Moore in 2022.
