Kylie Jenner has ignited speculation that she is engaged to actor Timothée Chalamet after appearing in a social media video wearing a large diamond ring. The 28-year-old cosmetics mogul posted a clip on her account showing off a fresh haircut, but fans quickly focused on the ring on the little finger of her left hand.
Although Jenner did not mention the ring, viewers were convinced it was an engagement ring because it appeared too large for a pinky ring. Comments flooded in, with one user writing, 'It HAS to be an engagement ring because it's too big to be fitted for her pinky.' Others referred to her as 'Mrs Chalamet' and noted her 'glow'.
The couple, who first sparked romance rumours in summer 2023, made their relationship official at the David Di Donatello Awards in Italy last May. Recently, Chalamet won Best Actor at the Critics Choice Awards for his role in 'Marty Supreme', and in his acceptance speech he thanked 'my partner for three years', directly addressing Jenner.
Jenner was seen mouthing 'I love you' during the speech, which came after reports that the pair had split. Psychologist Darren Stanton told the Daily Mail that their public declarations are a strategy to demonstrate the relationship's strength and discourage speculation, describing it as 'social proof and relationship validation'.
