Kim Kardashian Shows Off £1m Walk-In Wardrobe Stuffed with Hermès Birkin Bags

Kim Kardashian has given fans a glimpse of her lavish walk-in wardrobe, which is estimated to contain over £1 million worth of designer items. The 39-year-old reality star posted a video on social media on Wednesday evening to promote her new The Cozy Collection loungewear from her SKIMS line, but viewers were distracted by the opulent setting.

The white-carpeted closet featured rows of Hermès Birkin bags, which can cost between $20,000 and $300,000 each depending on the material. There were more than 30 of the highly coveted purses in colours including brown, black, blue, pink, orange and white. The collection also included shelves of shoes, from gold strappy heels to black pumps and at least 40 pairs of black pointy boots, as well as snakeskin boots.

Kim's sisters, including Kylie Jenner, also boast impressive collections. Kylie, 22, has previously shown off her own purse closet, which her interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard told Harper's Bazaar contains 'mostly Hermès, lots of Birkin bags and then Louis Vuitton, lots of Chanel and some Dior and Fendi.' Kylie became a billionaire earlier this year through her Kylie Cosmetics brand.

The Kardashian-Jenner family are known for their conspicuous consumption, with Khloé Kardashian even having a separate closet for her workout clothes containing over 50 pairs of sneakers. Despite criticism, their displays of wealth continue to attract millions of followers on social media.

Kim's new The Cozy Collection, featuring pyjamas and loungewear, will be available from 9 December on SKIMS.com.
